Disneyland detox

After a few days in Disneyland, we took a day or so and spent some time with Jared's family. We let the kids sleep in and spent an afternoon eating a leisurely lunch at Heritage Park in Cerritos.

Thor got right up to this horse before Jared realized he had scaled the fence, so he went ahead and snapped the shot. (Note the quinceanera in the background -- this was one of about 10 such photo shoots we saw going on that day.)

In her typical stubborn fashion, Winnie refused to be separated from her chips for the photo op. Here she is in all her Chipotle glory.

The kids loved messing around in this little cement boat moored on the man-made lake. Simple pleasures -- who needs Dumbo?
