We got brave last month and took the kids to Disneyland. There was an unexpected hundred-degree heat wave while we were there (yes, in October! Weird!) and so the trip could best be described as moments of sweaty exhaustion....
...interspersed with fanastically fun moments that we will always remember, even if the kids don't.
We kept a pretty slow pace and rode lots of kiddie rides, including repeated trips on Dumbo.
We took time out for plenty of character photos, which the kids loved.
And wandered around ToonTown, which is frankly pretty boring for adults, but which the kids loved.
Rocky spent most of the trip asleep and beating the heat in the relative comfort of the stroller bassinet.
Here is a rare moment with all three kids toward the end of the trip. Our exhaustion is starting to show through here.
All in all, this trip went as well as can be expected with three kids three and under and I think we'll even brave it again sometime soon.
