I’ve had a cold, accompanied by serious congestion, for 10 or 12 days now. I haven’t been able to sleep well since this started and it doesn’t seem to be improving. I keep thinking maybe I have a sinus infection and should go in, but then I read online and various reputable sources say the average cold lasts 7-14 days. Plus I don’t have a horrible headache or fever. Still, a two-week cold? That’s half a MONTH. I don’t seem to remember having colds last that long. This one is putting a serious dent in my holiday spirits. Ugh. Hopefully I will be better by this weekend.
