Someday she'll hate this

Last night as I was puttering around picking up the house and getting dinner ready and so forth, I heard Thor saying, “Hey, big guy. What are you doing, big guy?” There would be a brief pause, then, “Hey what are you doing, big guy?”  This is something Jared says to Thor all the time. I wondered momentarily who he was talking to, but thought maybe he was talking to himself. Then after a few repeats of that, he switched to, “Hey, big girl! Big girl, what are you doing?” I guess he was talking to Winnie all along and after some thought had concluded that Winnie was “big girl”, not “big guy”.  For the rest of the evening he alternated between calling her Winnie and “big girl”. Seriously, kids are the best.
