We found the iPod. It was in Jared's nightstand drawer. I am thinking maybe I put it there while I was searching for the Volvo key and emptying my pockets. Or Thor put it there. Or Jared found it lying around and put it there. In any case, it has been located and I am hugely relieved.
The Volvo key has never been found, but Jared did get a new one cut yesterday (and a bunch of copies made), so we are OK on that front for now. It was a bit of a hassle, but it could have been worse.
One of these days we will get our heads screwed on straight. Next up: replacing my lost driver's license before our vacation.
