The fun continues

First, to those who have expressed concern, I am fine. No injuries, no whiplash, no soreness. So far, so good. The guy was actually driving dangerously slow and I wasn't speeding and we were both wearing seatbelts so in that respect things were fine.

Now, to the nuts and bolts: I called my insurance company to get my formal claim submitted for the accident. I mentioned to them that I had misplaced my proof of insurance card and needed them to fax me proof of insurance. They sent me something showing an effective date of today. That is nice, but it is not what I need. I need to prove to the police department that I was insured YESTERDAY.

I'm not sure how this could have been unclear. Here we go again. Again.
