Keeping the peace

I have discovered that when we are watching a show on Tivo, regardless of who is holding the remote, at some point that person will have a mental lapse and forget to fast forward through commercials. When Jared does this, I usually do some sort of "Mm-hmmmm" throat clearing or just stare at him until he fast forwards.

I guess he has gotten a little sick of this, because yesterday he brought home an extra remote and announced that from now on we will have two remotes. No one has to get annoyed about fast forwarding, because we both have equal access. Great. I suggested that we label the remotes to avoid any confusion.

He concurred, and we now have a remote labeled with my initials and another that says, simply, "P. Chop".
