Winnie is really enjoying herself. Last night she was “chatting” with several of our fellow subway riders and then as we made our way back to the hotel, she started shouting and waving her arms around expressively. She sometimes just gets boisterous like that, for no apparent reason, and passersby appeared somewhat amused. She certainly has plenty to say.
We went over to Grand Central Station last night, where Jake and Meredith treated us to some cheesecake. It was a nice little outing. This is the first trip out here in several years when I haven’t been pregnant and either very nauseated or completely exhausted, so I’m really enjoying things this time around. It’s kind of nice.
