Long time coming

Pork Chop finally started his new job today after days of waiting because they screwed up his paperwork. It's all straightened out now, and he did pass the drug test (phew), so as of today he is once again gainfully employed.

So things are going pretty well in the Hexberg household. One of us will observe a birthday later this week, and that's exciting. There may even be cake involved.

With all these changes in the works, I would be getting really excited about summer, except it's supposed to snow later this week. That's right -- snow. I imagine some of you are enjoying actual beach weather, and I'm going to be getting out my woollen mittens and my winter hat. Oh, the injustice of it all.
